My Daily - The Golden Sunflower

Little Curly standing beside a giant sunflower in a peaceful flower field for My Daily – The Golden Sunflower illustration.

Today, I wanted to tell you why sunflowers make me smile.

Every time I see one, I stop for a little while.

They're so tall...so bright...and somehow they always seem happy.

When I was little, someone told me that sunflowers spend their whole day turning towards the sun.

I don't know if they think about it.

They just quietly keep following the light.

Today I wanted to tell you why sunflowers always make me smile, and why they remind me to keep looking for the light, even on cloudy days. ♡

Sometimes I think people can be a little bit like sunflowers too.

There are cloudy days.

There are rainy days.

There are days when everything feels a little harder than yesterday.

But even then...

we can still choose to look for the little bits of light around us.

Maybe it's a kind smile.

A warm cup of tea.

A good friend.

A wagging tail waiting at the door.

Or simply the feeling that tomorrow might be a little brighter.

Today I wanted to tell you why sunflowers always make me smile, and why they remind me to keep looking for the light, even on cloudy days. ♡

That's why I love sunflowers.

They remind me that hope doesn't have to be loud.

Sometimes hope is simply turning your face towards the light, one little moment at a time.

And perhaps that's enough.

Little Curly ♡
